Microsoft Internet Software

This section contains a whole host of software from Microsoft designed to help you get the most out of the WWW. System requirements vary. Included in the selection are both Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 versions of Internet Explorer (the new 95 version includes NetMeeting).

Brand new too is Personal Web Server, a program which installs to the Windows 95 toolbar to allow you to publish your own WWW pages. You will need to contact your Web Master to be able to use this program. Clicking on the link below will install PWS immediately. There is no option to stop the installation. Note that the interface will either become available in the icon toolbar on the bottom right of your screen or in the Control Panels part of My Computer. If you want to remove it from your system, use the Add/Remove Software in Control Panels.

As always the Internet Assistants for MS Office programs are included. If you want to check for other Microsoft software or possible updates of this Internet software, try the Microsoft WWW site at www.microsoft.com

Don't forget that this month's disc also includes versions of FrontPage and Visual BASIC 5 from Microsoft.
